Enivi
THIS INFORMATION IS NO LONGER VALID!
Enivi are enchanted creatures who reside in the world of Eniv.
They display both canine and cervid traits, and live on a mixed diet of both meat and plants, though some Enivi may choose to eat plants alone.
Born with a single hue, the young are taken to the temple of their clan's chosen deity to be blessed. Once the blessing ceremony is completed, they are granted a shimmering new coat and magic. These newfound abilities may take time and training to refine, but are essential to the life and society of the Enivi.
Markings and colors differ between clans and their temples. Enivi rarely travel between clans, and will not visit the temple of another deity, as it is considered a point of conflict with their own clan's temple, and the deity that's blessed them at birth. However, they have been known to open trade with other clans, and are not hostile toward one another.
There have been rare occasions where an Enivi has been sent on a spiritual quest by more than one deity. This results in a "du-forve", or dual blessing. There is one instance of a "ter-forve", or triple-blessing, wherein the Enivi, Kio, was sent on a quest for all three deities.
Being a du-forve Enivi is considered a great honor, and grants membership to both clans.

Miniature Enivi
Miniature Enivi are smaller than most other Enivi within their clans, but have the same body proportions. Think of them as miniature versions. They generally measure to the shoulder of a standard Enivi within the same clan.

Clan Specific traits
The Ortusi are the largest of the three clans. With their powerful frames, curved backs, and thick necks, they're perfect for agricultural work. Upturned nostrils help with air intake during activity, and their extended dewclaw on their front legs helps with daily tasks like digging.
Like all Enivi, the Ortusi have scales that run down their bellies and along their shoulders and hinds. What makes them so unique are the thick scales that also run down their backs. Sometimes, these scales can have small points or spikes. This is believed to be a blessing from Ortus, the deity that stole the heart of a dragon to provide light and warmth to their land.

The Vespiri are a lithe and graceful clan. Their deer-like bodies give them a gentle appearance, combined with their smaller, rounder snouts. The Vespiri deal more with spiritual aspects than physical, so the additional bulk of the Ortusi isn't present. Blessed by Vesperium, they are the only Enivi to have long, curled horns that reach for the Heavens. It is said that they use these horns as a beacon to gently guide spirits to the afterlife.
Due to their scholarly ways, the Lunaesi have no need for additional muscle or spiritual horns.
Instead, these Enivi are the smallest of the three. Their petite, goat-like legs make them different from the other two clans, as well as the additional amount of fur that coats their bodies. This is a trait to help them keep warm against the cold desert nights, as well as to guard their bodies against the damaging rays of the sun.
Blessed by Lunae, these are the only Enivi to have under curving, ram-like horns.

Previously unknown to the other clans, the Druaesi are a reclusive group of Enivi.
Living deep within the Dark Forest, these Enivi have literally become one with nature. Their homes are carved into trees and hillsides, hidden from the view of passing strangers. Their bodies are made of bark-like material, and are often covered with moss, flowers, vines, and other growing flora.
These are the only Enivi to sport antlers, rather than horns, and to have a hollow area within their belly. Sometimes plants may grow within this space, and it is considered to be a great honor for the Enivi the plant 'chooses'.
Their souls are slightly different from the other clans as well, appearing more like will-o'-whisps than floating orbs.
They do bear a strange resemblance to the Vespiri.
